If your device is currently in its mount, use the included ejector tool and push it into the small circular opening on the bottom right of the device, and press firmly. Make sure you remove the doorbell from the home kit before proceeding with the factory reset. The first step of troubleshooting for this type of issue is a factory reset of the Doorbell. This doesn't always mean there is an issue with your home network as it could also have to do with the Apple Home Hubs that are being used as well. If you are getting a flashing green light this indicates a network issue. (If you are unable to see the status light please ensure that this feature is not disabled in the settings for the Doorbell located within the Home app.) It will only show this fault for a short time since it will continually try to resolve the issue by reconnecting. The Doorbell will communicate which of these is causing the fault with a flashing colored LED, called the status light, located between the Doorbell button and the LED strip for illumination at the time of disconnection. There are 3 main reasons your Circle View Doorbell will be offline and they are network issues, voltage issues, and thermal issues.
